We have officially launched the Little Moon Essentials blog, so we thought it would be the perfect time to re-introduce ourselves and share a little bit about what makes Little Moon Essentials and our products unique!
How We Started
Would you believe we are celebrating our 30th anniversary next year? That’s right, Little Moon Essentials has been around since 1994! We originally began in Steamboat, Colorado with the Letting Go™ Mineral Bath, and after its success, began to grow the company into what it is today.
Where We Are Now
Today, we are a continuing small business pursuing our mission of creating high-quality natural remedies for the body, mind, and soul. We moved from Colorado and are now based in the Sunshine State (but more formally, in Dania Beach). When we aren’t enjoying the year-round sunshine, we are working hard to create the products you love and enjoy.
What You Need to Know About Us
We are passionate about the bath and body care we create and would love to share what sets us apart from the rest of the competition.
All our products are cruelty-free and we are proud to be Leaping Bunny Certified. We have never tested on animals, and we never will (that’s a promise that’s not hard for us to keep)! We also carefully source our additional ingredients to ensure that our suppliers do not test on animals as well.
Our products are vegan-friendly and made with 100% vegan ingredients, with the exception of beeswax. Our ingredient lists for each product will include beeswax in the list, but we have a curated list we made specifically for anyone looking to purchase products without beeswax.
We use clean ingredients and work hard to make sure you know exactly what is going into each of our products. What you see on a Little Moon Essentials label is what you get, so there are never any surprises. All of our products are also paraben-free (as they should be), so they can be preserved naturally.
Our products are on a mission to help save the planet and we partner with rePurpose Global to help make that happen. We value Mother Earth and are committed to keeping her healthy! We use biodegradable and recyclable shipping materials, and all our packaging is reusable and/or recyclable. We also train our staff in best recycling practices and to be conscious of waste output and are always looking into innovative ways to improve our environmental impact and sustainable supply chain. Our work with rePurpose Global helps us stay plastic-neutral as we work to remove and recover plastic waste from our oceans, coastlines, and lands.
Our products are made with the moon in mind and they are truly connected to the phases of the moon. That’s right, we utilize the gravitational pull of the moon to extract the most out of our herbs and infuse them into our base oils.
