Beautiful Women Making Beautiful Products ~
Here's how it all started...who are ALWAYS having "too much fun" - what could be more powerful? Little Moon Essentials began with an actual dream Laura had in the winter of 1994. She dreamed of a warming, ginger mineral bath, called "Letting Go" that would help with her chronic eczema. She woke up the next morning with the blend in mind, the name, and a picture in her head of the jar. Being a studied aromatherapist and herbalist, she made the base with a combination of salts that was unique and unusual, and very high in essential minerals, with organic ginger as the keystone herb for its therapeutic healing properties. She completed the formula with essential oils known to aid in detoxification and stress relief, lavender, nutmeg & others. She prepared the jar, and took it to the local health food store where she worked, Alfalfa's Market in Boulder, Colorado, asking if they would sell it on consignment. The very next day the entire 10 pounds was gone, an entire gallon jar empty! Thus a dream company had begun, and with it the idea for a new kind of BODY MEDICINE - an easy-to-use product that would pamper you, and ALSO make your body healthier and better, every time you used it. Laura envisioned remedies that would make it easy to re-lease a rotten day or spur on a creative moment - a remedy for every reason! With the unending, and at times deep financial, support of her amazing mother and father, friends, and health food stores, one bulk bath salt grew into a "microblendery" body care company. Laura received lots of help from her sister Lisa,
who had many great ideas - and originally stimulated Little Moon to expand from three bath products into twenty. Little Moon now offers more than a hundred unique and "truly therapeutic" natural products for a variety of ailments, situations, & injuries. Everything in the line is created with a specific healing action/function in mind - to help you treat yourself to good health, relieve your pains and woes...in an easy and pleasant way. All of the products have a "spiritual nature" as well - and are created and inspired from meditation, intent and contemplation - truly remedies of the mind, body and spirit. Sixteen years later, Little Moon is a booming company with many millions of dollars in sales (that's a lot of bath salts)! We share shelf space with the country's biggest companies and compete in the international market. But WE dare to be wild and outrageous while we do our good!
Our current staff is BY FAR the greatest ever, and the accomplishments of the company are growing in number and diversity! We are winning awards for Green Businesses and the products are getting noticed more every day, and respected in every way! Delivery guys come over just to smell our amazingingly fragrant Magic Factory -
though the beautiful Body Care Goddesses are an additional attraction! Here are the Angels: Nora Roland (Operations Manager & Go-To-Girl), Charlotte Rentfleish (Co-Operations Manager & Consistency Expert), Alison Giese (Production Angel & Xmas Present), Catay Jasper (Production Angel & Executive Assistant) Anita Hartley (Production & Ease Angel). We have also added the radiant, therapeutic massage therapist Ashley Rabb and Laura is doing Aromatherapy Sesions.... Our staff also includes: My beloved Dave Allen (Musician, Master Builder, Jerky Maker, Support-Giver, & Shrine Maker)...and phidgt and phrog our WebMajesties!
