Our Favorite Self-Care Practices for Spring - Little Moon Essentials

Our Favorite Self-Care Practices for Spring

The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and everything feels just right. When spring arrives, we are ready to take on the day but are always open to creating a little room in our schedules for some self-care. Taking a few moments out of your day for self-care and relaxation is a great way to refresh your spirit and figure out what your body needs to keep you going and grounded. We’ve collected a few of our favorite self-care practices for spring to help you set the scene to unwind and revitalize your energy.

A Soothing Bath

What is more relaxing than a warm, soothing bath? After a long day or busy week, this is the perfect way to unwind and let your muscles relax. Adding a mineral bath is a great way to incorporate some aromatherapy into your bathtime routine as well (our favorites are Relax™ and Letting Go™).

Staying Hydrated

Keeping your body hydrated can look like a lot of different things. First and foremost, drinking water! It’s important to drink water on any given day, but during the springtime, you may be looking for something a little more refreshing. Add fresh fruit or herbs to your water to create a spa-like experience with a simple beverage (and switch up the taste if you’re not the biggest water fan). A few of our favorite combinations are strawberry, lemon, and mint, or watermelon and lime.

Your skin also needs to stay hydrated as the weather warms up, so we always like to keep a hydrating lotion and facial mist on hand. Our Rose Water Elixir is our go-to for warmer days when our skin is craving hydration. The combination of Vitamin E, rose water, and lavender is so soothing!

Connecting With Nature

With the sun shining bright, there’s no excuse to stay cooped up inside! Going outside for even just 10 minutes a day can help to revitalize your spirit and re-inspire you. A few of our favorite ways to connect with nature include walking around the neighborhood or local botanical garden, painting the environment around us, or journaling.

Eat With the Season

Eating with the season is a great way to consciously buy produce and switch up your meals if you find yourself with a little food fatigue. This is also a great way to encourage you to get out to your local farm or farmer’s market to buy produce locally!
